I have been working in Facilities for over 20 years and spent nearly 6 months trying to find a catering supplier but was met with responses from caterers of “sites too small”, “not enough people” and a lot of withdrawals after a lot of initial interest and site visits.
I then looked at a different approach and called in the experts, unfortunately as the time had gone on, I had 6 weeks to find a catering provider before we opened our second building and throw a huge party to celebrate! With food always being central to these sorts of celebrations, we had to get it right first time, and quick!
Superhero Tracey arrived on site the day after I contacted her, taking notes, speaking to staff, and assessing our needs. During the next 4 weeks Tracey arranged and hosted site visits with potential catering partners on our site while keeping me fully informed of all activities around our site and keeping me informed nearly every day with how the process was progressing!
At the end of those 4 weeks, Tracey presented all of the information from the catering partners in an easy to read and understand way for me to present to my leadership team, a partner was chosen and Tracey got to work again, with less than two weeks to get the caterer onboarded and set up… Tracey absolutely knocked it out of the park!
Even though the tender process was finished, and our new catering supplier was on site and doing a fantastic job, Tracey visited site and dialled into meetings to make sure everything was clear and as per the tender documents. I will be using TAF again!
TAF deliver true non bias reports and this was a breath of fresh air. Having been a contractor I know there are some allegiances with contractors and for me it was so important that we can trust our consultants to be independent.
